Argentine coach Fernando Signorini, the former fitness coach of football legend Diego Maradona, has joined the campaign to Kick Israel Out of FIFA and All International Sporting Competitions, launched by the Palestinian Sports Network (Sharaf) at the start of the World Cup.

In a statement to the Palestinian Sports Network, Fernando Signorini called on all free people around the world who hope for a more just world to raise their voices to expel Israel from all international sporting competitions, while also increasing pressure to end the ongoing aggression against Gaza.

Signorini is considered one of the leading figures in the field of athletic physical conditioning, having worked alongside a number of world-renowned football stars, including Argentine star Lionel Messi during the early years of his professional career.

The Palestinian Sports Network affirmed that Signorini’s participation constitutes significant moral support for the campaign and reflects the growing international sporting solidarity with the calls to take action against Israel within international sports institutions.

The campaign launched by the Palestinian Sports Network seeks to mobilize the support of prominent athletes, coaches, players, and public figures from around the world in order to press the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and other international sports federations to expel Israel from international sporting competitions.
