International Petition Issued by the Palestinian Sports Network to the Global Sports Movement on the Occasion of the 2026 World Cup

No World Cup Over the Blood of Gaza's Children
No Sport with Occupation and Genocide

To the international sports federations,

To FIFA and the International Olympic Committee,

To players, clubs, and free people around the world,

As stadiums prepare to welcome the 2026 World Cup, the Zionist entity, with direct U.S. and Western support, continues its open genocidal war against the Palestinian people through mass killing, siege, starvation, and the systematic destruction of every means of life in Gaza and occupied Palestine.

The Israeli occupation has destroyed stadiums, sports halls, clubs, and youth centers; assassinated and imprisoned Palestinian athletes; and transformed Palestinian sport into a direct target of its aircraft, missiles, and prisons. What has happened and continues to happen in Gaza is not "collateral damage," but a systematic colonial policy aimed at crushing the Palestinian people and erasing their national, cultural, and sporting existence.

The continued participation of "Israel" in international competitions and the raising of its flag in stadiums around the world, while it commits massacres against our people around the clock, represents a resounding moral failure of international sports institutions and direct complicity with a settler-colonial and racist regime that practices ethnic cleansing and genocide.

Global sporting silence is no longer neutrality; it is active participation in the crime.

Accordingly, the Palestinian Sports Network calls upon the global sports movement to take immediate and urgent action to:

• Expel Israel completely and immediately from all international and continental sports federations and competitions.

• Impose a comprehensive boycott on Zionist clubs, teams, and sports institutions, and end all forms of sports normalization with them.

• Launch a broad international campaign for the freedom of Palestinian athletes imprisoned in occupation prisons.

• Hold Israel accountable for its crimes against Palestinian sport, including the bombing of stadiums, the killing of players, and the destruction of sports facilities.

• Boycott corporations and sponsors involved in supporting the occupation or covering up its crimes.

• Exert global pressure to end U.S. and Western military, political, and financial support for the Zionist entity, as a full partner in the ongoing genocidal war against our people.

• Recognize the Palestinian people's right to freedom, return, and self-determination as an inseparable part of sporting and human justice.

The world boycotted the apartheid regime in South Africa until its downfall. Today, humanity faces a new historic test:

Either to stand alongside freedom, justice, and oppressed peoples,

Or to be complicit with occupation, colonialism, and genocide.

Stadiums that remain silent in the face of massacres lose their humanity.

Sport that ignores the blood of children, athletes, and martyrs becomes a tool in the hands of the killers.

From besieged Gaza...

From Palestine, which has resisted for 78 years...

We address this call to the free people of the world:

Raise the red card against the occupation.

Boycott Israel.

Stop the genocide.

Free the Palestinian athletes.

Freedom for Palestine.
